These terms govern your use of AnswerMate, a service provided by MOT Match Ltd ("AnswerMate", "we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales, registered office at 14/2e Docklands Business Centre, 10–16 Tiller Road, London, E14 8PX.
By signing up for AnswerMate, you agree to these terms.
AnswerMate provides an AI-powered call answering service ("Nora") for small businesses. When enabled, calls to your assigned AnswerMate number are answered automatically, key details are captured, and you are notified by SMS shortly after each call.
AnswerMate is a communications tool, not a substitute for professional advice, emergency services, or human judgement in situations requiring urgent attention.
New subscriptions include a 5-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged the then-current subscription fee (currently £49/month) on a recurring monthly basis, until you cancel.

All intellectual property rights in AnswerMate — including software, code, designs, and the "AnswerMate" and "Nora" names and branding — belong to MOT Match Ltd or its licensors. Subscribing to AnswerMate gives you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your own business; it does not transfer ownership of any underlying intellectual property to you.
AnswerMate relies on third-party providers (including telephony, AI, and payment providers) to function. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or issues originating from these providers' systems, though we will make reasonable efforts to work around such issues where possible.
AnswerMate assigns you a dedicated phone number for the duration of your active subscription. This number remains AnswerMate's property. If your subscription ends or is cancelled, the number may be reassigned to another business after a reasonable period.
We aim to keep AnswerMate available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AnswerMate depends on third-party providers and may occasionally be affected by outages outside our control.
AnswerMate's AI assistant may occasionally misunderstand a caller, capture information incorrectly, or fail to handle a call as intended. You remain responsible for following up with your customers and should not treat AnswerMate as infallible.
Our collection and use of personal data — including call recordings and transcripts of your callers — is described in our Privacy Policy. By using AnswerMate, you confirm you have the right to have your business calls handled in this way, and that you will inform callers as required by applicable law where relevant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnswerMate is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, AnswerMate — including losses arising from missed, mishandled, or delayed calls.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnswerMate, MOT Match Ltd, and our employees and agents against any claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of AnswerMate, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to AnswerMate if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or fail to pay outstanding fees.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of AnswerMate after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
